EMDR Basic Training Refresher Course

Jessica loves to learn, loves to teach, and has a blast at doing it! She enjoys being productive and typically has a few projects going at once. She is a career woman who takes her role as a therapist very seriously. She is passionate about seeing people heal from traumatic experiences and hopes to help mentor the next generation of clinicians going into private practice and integrating EMDR therapy in their own practice.Jessica has been successful at starting her own private practice and now expanding to becoming a group practice. She is the owner of Redeeming Lives Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC. The mission of Redeeming Lives Counseling and Consulting is to partner with individuals, families, and groups to work through trauma as well as other identity and mental health issues. Their goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere that empowers and motivates people to change and heal.

Have you been through EMDR basic training but don't use it? This is the course for you!

<p>Basic Training offers so much information it is difficult to retain it all. It would seem people walk away with the basics, and some may even learn a few of the terms, however, we need to keep going back to the training manuals to re-learn things. This course is designed to help refresh the basics. Through lecture and hands on experience, participants will have a better understanding of the protocols and refresh their knowledge of the basic terms. They will review the difference between resourcing and cognitive interweaves. Participants will examine 6 different cognitive interweaves and how to use them during a mental block. They will review different situations where a future template would be helpful. Lastly, they will walk away with handouts and scripts to help implement what they have learned right away.</p>
