Embracing Hiroshima

Scandinavia House was created by the American-Scandinavian Foundation to be the leading center for Nordic culture in the United States. It offers a wide range of programs that include exhibitions, film series, concerts and other performances, readings, lectures, language courses, and activities for kids.

<P>Norwegian dancer and director Einy Åm Sparks discusses and screens her latest dance film Embracing Hiroshima, a documentary which merges dance, contemporary and traditional music, concert performance, and animation to honor the world’s enormous peacekeeping efforts in the wake of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. </P>
