Spring is a beautiful season of renewed hope and possibility; a time of emergence from the cold stillness of winter, the return of light, and reconnection with nature. During this retreat, you will be guided through various mindfulness practices to help you tap into this spring energy and cultivate a mindset of abundance. You will be encouraged to leave behind negative, limiting thought patterns and leave feeling refreshed and uplifted.
Whether you are new to yoga & mindfulness practices or have been practicing for years, this retreat is a great opportunity to deepen your practice and connect with like-minded individuals.

10:45 am: We will all gather at the beautiful & secluded Cherry Tree Picnic Shelter in Fort Harrison State Park for an introduction and meet & greet to allow everyone to feel fully connected and settled.
11:00 am: Your experience will begin with a 50-minute outdoor yoga class. This will be an energizing, uplifting yoga flow (suitable for all levels) that will focus on gentle movements and stretches.
11:50 am: Directly following your yoga practice, you will be led through a guided mindfulness meditation and journaling exercise that will encourage you to cultivate a sense of abundance and joy.
12:20 pm:You will have the opportunity to take one of two hikes: Camp Creek Trail (2 miles, moderate difficulty, dirt path) or Harrison Trace Trail (3 miles, low difficulty, fully paved). Soak up the spring sunshine while enjoying quality conversation and beautiful views of the flowing creek, greenery, blooming flowers, and wildlife.
1:30 pm: Upon returning from your hike, the picnic table will be set and the food will be served. This will be a buffet-style, plant-based brunch featuring all high-quality, local, organic ingredients. We will end our day in fellowship around the table as we nourish our bodies.

Without a state parks pass, it is $7.00 per vehicle to enter the park. If you are attending this event with a friend, we would encourage you to carpool so you only have to pay one fee to get in!
There are ample parking spaces right by our picnic shelter.
Ask the park attendant for instructions, and grab a free map on your way in. Once you enter, there are plenty of signs pointing you towards the Cherry Tree Shelter. Here is a PDF map of Fort Harrison State Park: https://www.in.gov/dnr/state-parks/files/ftharrison_trail.pdf
