Embodiment Workshop on Trusting Support
Get ready to dive deep into building trust and finding support in this hands-on workshop experience!
HELD
A Somatic & Embodiment Workshop on Trusting Support
There comes a moment
when strength softens.
When the one who has been holding everything
realizes…
she doesn’t have to anymore.
This workshop is an invitation to explore what it feels like
to be supported —
not as an idea,
but as a lived, embodied experience.
What We’ll Do
We’ll begin in circle, gently arriving in our bodies and naming where we feel over-responsible, over-efforting, or tired of holding it all.
From there, we’ll move into grounding practices that reconnect us to gravity — feeling the earth beneath our feet, allowing the back body to soften, and letting breath widen into the places that rarely get to rest.
We’ll explore:
• Back-body awareness — awakening the part of us that receives support
• Partner or wall-based leaning practices — safely experiencing shared weight and mutual steadiness
• Guided touch or proximity exercises (always invitational) — practicing receiving without fixing or performing
• Embodied movement exploration — shifting from self-holding into spacious, supported expression
Through somatics, breath, and relational movement, we gently re-pattern hyper-independence and invite the nervous system to experience safe interdependence.
We will close with reflection and integration — anchoring what support feels like in the body so you can recognize it in your life.
This is not about collapsing.
It is about strength that knows how to rest.
In a culture that rewards self-sufficiency,
this is a space to practice being held —
by the floor,
by breath,
by community,
by something larger than yourself.
Come as you are — guarded, strong, tender, skeptical, open.
All parts are welcome here.
You do not have to do this alone. 🌿
