Embodied Expression is back in Philadelphia!!

Embodied Expression A Somatic & Ecstatic Dance Workshop is a sacred space for adults to freely express, dancing their prayers, exploring the depths & visions of your innermost being, all awhile celebrating the ecstasy of embodiment.

Inspired with the intention of co creating a higher vibration in the world, within this sacred container one is free to embark on a deep journey inwards to the body, mind, and heart to explore what is alive for you in this now moment. A journey of somatic practices, concious free form movement & ecstatic dance paired with a curated musical landscape, journeys you back to your most authentic BLISS being.

The Greek term ecstasis (meaning “to stand outside oneself”) is the etymological mother of our English words ecstasy and ecstatic. Ecstasis (also ekstasis) is a moment of insight; it is a moment of total immersion in being. To stand outside of, or transcend the ego.

Come as you are, and sink into this sacred space of freedom, safety, play, joy and celebration. Charee invites you into the depths of your spirit for complete freedom to do whatever your body wants to do in this space. If you want to shake your whole body head to toe, rock back and forth, happy cry, primal howl & everything in between, all of you and all of your expression is welcomed.

This experience will lead you into a place where the rhythm beat of the music & breath invites you in to discover places within Self, this space is where the thinking mind & talking simply cannot touch.

Embodied Expression with Charee is a deeply spiritual, transformational & illuminating experience, a Divine Rememberance. We will close with conscious breathing to calm the nervous system, followed by a sound/gong bath and an opportunity to share in circle about our exploration.

Limited space is available & registration is strongly encouraged. This is a trauma informed, concious & sober dance.

Dress comfortably in layers, bring a refillable water bottle, journal & anything else that feels right.
