For those who think fire adaptation is dull or intimidating, think again! Ember Stomp is a festival to celebrate the many ways we can adapt.

Fire Safe Marin presents “Ember Stomp” Marin County&#x27;s annual Wildfire Prevention Festival. This FREE event held on May 20, 2023 at the Marin County Fairgrounds will be a celebration of Marin County’s groundbreaking community effort to reduce the risk of a catastrophic wildfire. The festival features live music, games, artwork, exhibits, demonstrations, and lots of great food. Highlights include:*The “Demo House,” a fully constructed small model house that showcases home hardening features and materials.*The “Demo Garden,” three 30x40 plots featuring fire smart aesthetics to expand the perception of what a &#x27;fire smart&#x27; yard can look like.*20+ wildfire products and services businesses.*40+ community partners such as Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority, fire agencies and local non-profits. *Live music Twilight Brass Band – New Orleans Traditional Second Line School of Rock – Young Marin Musicians 11:00-11:45 The TBA – Jazz Fusion Band 12:15-1:00 Orquesta Bembe – Salsa &amp; Latin Jazz 1:30-2:15 Back Yard Party Kings – Calif. &amp; New Orleans Mix 2:45-3:30 Eclipse Musical de Guatemala 4:00-4:45*Entertainment, activities, and games for kids All ages are welcome. Event is wheelchair accessible.
