The goal of the conference is to help you: 1) Understand Ember more deeply so that you can share your learnings with your team more effectively.2) Learn strategies from other team&#x27;s using Ember (e.g. how to teach Ember to junior developers).3) Participate in group breakout sessions to talk through problems.4) Meet new people who you can learn from, recruit, hire as contractors, or interview with.Why Ember Ignite?Many teams talk about the challenges of hiring and training Ember developers. When you combine intentional training strategies with Ember’s conventions and community wisdom, you can build a strong team.The theme for the conference is technical communication. The goal is to push your understanding of Ember so that you explain a solution so well that someone else on your team can implement it.Technical communication helps teams get unblocked and empowers more junior teammates.Code of ConductEmber Ignite is adopting the Ember Community Guidelines to make sure its a safe environment for everyone.Are you interested in helping the next generation of Ember developers?All monies raised during ticket sales and tips will go towards creating an open-source curriculum to teach Ember to junior engineers (that have no production experience). We will also take a live cohort of 10 people and work with them to get them hired as UI engineers at great companies that will give them dignity and a strong start to their career as a UI engineer. Why and how are you qualified to do this?Jai has reviewed 1,000+ resumes and conducted 100+ mock interviews. During the pandemic, Jai helped 60+ coding bootcamp grads get their first job as software engineers by hosting online classes where he taught things such as: JavaScript Design Patterns, Testing JavaScript (going back to the fundamentals of OOP and Node, teaching junior engineers how to create their own test runners and testing patterns like Arrange, Act and Assert). Jai graduated from a coding bootcamp less than 3 years ago and currently is managing a codebase of ~100,000 lines of code on a project that has 10,000+ stars on Github. There&#x27;s a big hole in the market for training junior engineers and he thinks he has foundation to build a curriculum around what&#x27;s already working. If you help us reach our goal of $10,000 we can open-source the whole curriculum AND change the lives of 10 junior engineers.We suggest that you donate $30 for every ticket you buy.
