Many businesses continually send sales emails to their customers. But effective business owners design emails with simple, clear messages of value to their customers.

This course will teach you the key types and components of effective marketing emails.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

-Determine what content and when your company should send emails to customers -Identify the components of a simple, clear email with messages of value.

-Build and grow your email list with best practices.

-Execute your own email marketing plan.

A computer is recommended, but not required, for this course.

This course is the fifth module in the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) Digital Marketing six-module series. We recommend that you complete the previous four modules - "Developing a Marketing Strategy," "Creating Content Your Customers Value," "Creating Your Own Business Website," and "Search Engine Optimization (SEO)" - before taking this course.
