We're all about education and entertainment. We believe the our collective drinking culture is a key part of our overall culture, and as such, understanding it aids in enjoying it to the max. We call it "Cocktail Edutainment". Though we go to great lengths to educate our team in the details (on a professional level), we understand that our primarily role is as providers of hospitality, not just drinks. ELIXIR is first and foremost a neighborhood bar that has served its neighbors for 165 years. That history also makes the bar a San Francisco historic site and true piece of Old West culture. Under the proprietorship of noted barman H.
