About this event
The Elite Swim Camp is a collaboration of advanced, prestigious swim camps throughout the nation. We have fine-tuned the methods established and made it easily accessible to the Eastern Shore and Mid-Atlantic area.
The Elite Swim Camp prides itself on a having a high coach to swimmer ratio so each and every swimmer gets the highest quality coaching throughout the entire camp. Elite Swim Camp’s has one primary goal: teach our swimmers to swim faster. Simple, but easier said than done. Which is why Elite Swim Camp will be implementing advanced mechanics, equipment, video feedback, mental approach strategy to races and more.
We, here at Elite Swim Camp, take a very personal and holistic approach to make each swimmer get the coaching they deserve to achieve their next goal. We want to make sure your swimmer gets a great camp experience.
Coach Phil Quick
Washington College Head Swim Coach; Owner/Head Coach for Eastern Shore Aquatics
Originally a competitor with Ursinus College, Phil has now taken the helm of Washington College’s swim program. Coming from a head coach for Eastern Carolina Aquatics in North Caroline, Phil became the head coach for Washington College as an assistant. During the pandemic he created ESA to increase the relevancy of swimming in the Chestertown area. ESA is finishing up it’s 3rd year and Phil has completed his 5th year with Washington.
Coach Jake Halem
Washington College Assistant Swim Coach
Throughout his career, Jake has been a part of numerous swim programs as a swimmer which has helped mold Washington College swimmers into their more Elite self. Coach Halem's tenure as a swimmer warranted numerous records, ZONE's, Sectional and National level meets. Coach Halem is back for a second year with Elite Swim Camp and is ready to take your swimmers to the next level.
Coach Josh Brown
Washington College Strength and Conditioning Coach
It's not very common for a college to have a strength coach that has a background in swimming, let alone records and a national qualifying time backing his credentials. Coach Brown over sees all of Washington College's athletics, but has a soft spot for the swim team. Coach Brown has participated in numerous swim camps here at Washington College and is returning for another!
