Elves dress up for this special event! (Wear something green, blue, red or any color, as long as you look like an elf.Costumes are fun, even for parents, and c’mon, you can do better than just a hat!Don’t want to dress like an elf? Okay, you and just you can dress like a giant cup of hot cocoa (or a marshmallow, because who doesn’t love a marshmallow on their hot cocoa?))Elves come prepared with warm layers, a MetroCard, appropriate shoes, and a payment method.Elves respect the city by throwing away your hot cocoa trash, not littering, and leaving no trace.Elves in-training come with a responsible parent/guardian.Elves are joyful and have holiday spirit for whatever holiday the elf celebrates. We’re all part of one big happy elf family.Elves drink responsibly! Too much hot cocoa creates a big bellyache!Elves are elves. You are an elf. Your essence is elvish. Other participants are addressed… as elves.

ElfCon is an annual lighthearted, charitable, group of people and kids dressed like cute elves who roam the city in a hot cocoa crawl.

ElfCon is an adventure, a way for you to explore and test your limits. Hopefully by coming you’re willing to embark on that adventure, even if that adventure does not follow a planned route.This being said, updates on where the majority of the group is will be updated on our social media (@officialelfcon on Twitter on Instagram).Who’s in charge?Chief Elf.What time does it start?10am– the best time to have hot cocoa!What time does it end?Most likely by 1pm, but whenever your belly is full (however definitely by dark because elves have bedtimes).Do I really need to wear a costume?…Yes. Preferably elf, but any type of costume is appreciated. Wear something green, blue, red or any color, as long as you look like an elf. You can donate online here, and learn more about ElfCon’s charity drive here- Additional cash for cocoa and snacks (This ticket does not include any hot cocoa you decide to buy)- A MetroCard for you and your elf friends (though some little elves go under the turnstyle)- A buddy so you can share elf memories- Gifts, games, and performances for fellow elves- Comfy shoes and warm layers to keep you jolly through the day- Happiness and joy- An empty belly for hot cocoa (but maybe eat some lunch beforehand, mkay?
