Elevate Community Yoga

This is a 2-Day Intensive Training<ul><li>Saturday February 19th 10:30-6:30pm - Lunch from 2:30-3pm</li><li>Sunday February 20th 10:30-6:30pm - Lunch from 2:30-3pm</li></ul>In this training, you will experience giving and receiving hands-on assists and adjustments, and you will discover why this connection is magic. With lots of practice, you will learn how your assists will help people to better FEEL the poses in their bodies. You will develop your inner intuition for touch as well as knowledge of the proper alignment of the poses. You can then combine both of your refined skills to serve more effectively in this practice. This is open to everyone! Whether you just want a deeper understanding of yoga, the poses, alignment and hands on assists or you want to take these skills and put them into action, this program is designed for all to learn and connect. We highly recommend this program to current yoga teachers, aspiring yoga teachers, those interested in assisting in classes. You have the options to choose from:<ul><li>Just the Training - $200 Includes 2-Day Training, Elevate Assisting Handbook and 15 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Hours</li></ul><ul><li>Training to be Elevate Certified - $260 Includes 2-Day Training, Elevate Assisting Handbook, 21 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Hours, 5 Peer Assists, Test out Approval, Certificate of Completion, and possible opportunity to assist at our studio! If this interests you, please read below</li></ul>Become Elevate Certified! We want to make sure that our assists are benefiting our students. Before we go out into the world to share our newfound love of touch, it is important that we aren't causing harm to our students unknowingly and that we have experienced feedback to help make sure we are safe in our assists. You will be required to do 5 full class peer assists following this training and one Elevate approved assisting test out. Your peers will receive your assists and provide you with feedback to help you feel confident and ready to test out on Kaycie Hall or Sharon Taporco. You will not only be able to share your assists with others, but we hope to have you share them with us!
