At the height of Summer, our thoughts begin to turn to the waning of the season and the time for harvests. We will create our own corn husk dollies and close with a ceremony to ask a blessing of The Spirit of the Corn for a good harvest on our projects, plans, and endeavors.
Please come prepared with an idea about what you are harvesting this year and also something you wish to sacrifice as the summer wanes.
Bring:
Please bring a journal, pen, something to stay hydrated with, and an open mind.
We provide light snacks to share. You are also welcome to bring something to share if you’d like. We also frequently bring our traveling shop of new and gently used items. Cash and PayPal are accepted.
Logistics:
Please bring ritual garb if desired or wear something comfortable, a dish or snack to share (ingredient lists are helpful for food allergies/sensitivities), and an open mind.
This is an age-appropriate experience for 18+, or 16+ with parent/legal guardian in attendance.
Free parking is available behind the building, and please enter through the back doors (the front door is an accessible entrance if needed)
