Wrought from industrial scrap metal, these evocative pieces bridge strength & delicacy through modern shape & rustic finishes.
Penny Laine is an innovative artist with a style all her own. Working with reclaimed metal scraps, she creates sculptural wall pieces and freestanding works that bridge strength and delicacy through modern forms and rustic finishes. Inspired by the varied landscapes around her, her designs reflect the quiet power and beauty found in nature while maintaining a distinctly contemporary sensibility.
Penny holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from the University of North Texas and built a successful career in graphic design. Influenced by the graphic clarity of her design background, she extends her creative expression into the physical realm, shaping substantial metal into tactile works of art.
Her work explores the balance of masculine and feminine energies through the interplay of light, dimensions, shadows, and texture. Drawing inspiration from organic nature and landscapes, each piece carries a sense of movement and presence. Penny’s sculptures have been described as bold yet soft, stunningly raw and deeply compelling. The result is artwork that feels both grounded and refined, making her pieces a striking complement to modern interior spaces.
