Museum of Culpeper History

“Elementary Explorers” is the museum’s series of programming for 5-9 year-olds that brings fun facts and activities out of the past!

The 4 Seasons!Did you know the seasons played a role in the survival of Culpeper? Join us this month as we learn about the 4 seasons and their importance to farmers who have planted this land for centuries. Participants will explore the differences between the seasons and what happens on a farm during each one. They will create a seasonal picture to take home.The series, targeted at ages 5-9, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different craft inspired by local history.A Parent/ guardian must accompany their children.THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
