Bellingham Makersapce is a volunteer run non-profit creative workshop that provides access to tools, education, technology, professional development, and a vibrant community of collaborative people.  Active membership, classes, and donations allow us to continue to provide the valuable resource to the community.  We encourage people to share their skills and interests through volunteering, teaching, or membership.

Hands-on tutorial workshop for beginners new to electronics.

Learn how to use common electronics test equipment to evaluate proper functionality of an electronic circuit or component and techniques for isolating faults. Digital multimeters, oscilloscope, signal generators, and power supply operation are covered in this class.Note: Since this is a hands-on tutorial, class size is limited to 1.1 hour. Ticket sales end 24 hours before the class. Prerequisites: Some electronics knowledge, such as Ohms Law, recommended able computer if you have one. Age range: 14 and up. Exceptions maybe allowed after consultation. If you are a current Bellingham Makerspace member or scheduled volunteer you may select the discounted member registration. Some instructors offer scholarship discounts and volunteers may be eligible for training discounts.Cancellations: All classes have a minimum number of participants. If the instructor specified number is not reached 24hrs before the class is scheduled to start, the class will be cancelled and any registrations refunded (Eventbrite fees are non refundable).Refund policy: You may request a refund from Eventbrite no later than 24hrs before the class starts (Eventbrite fees are non refundable).
