Welcome to the first Electronic Music Open Mic (EMOM) event in Wells, Somerset!
Come and discover the variety of electronic music produced by local musicians from Wells and the surrounding area. You could hear anything from ambient soundscapes and noodlings to throbbing techno, from head nodding chill hop to experiments of chance and noise - all depending on who signs up to perform.
We will be upstairs in the function room at the White Hart. There will be 15 minute sets with 5 minute change overs, an interval and a bar.

Electronic Music Open Mic (EMOM) nights provide a meeting and performance space for electronic musicians of all persuasions. The first ever EMOM was organised by Martin Christie and took place in Manchester in 2017. https://www.electronicmusicopenmic.com/
The event takes place in the function room on the 1st floor; there are two turns in the stairs and unfortunately there is not a lift.

We hope to provide some sort of visuals on the night comprising projections and lights but we are not planning to use stroboscopic lighting effects.

There will be a full range PA system with subs but we will be keeping the levels reasonable and safe as the event takes place in the lovely White Hart hotel. If you are worried about your hearing, there will be complementary ear plugs on the door.
