Join us for a captivating theatrical event unveiling three one-act plays by three remarkable elder Black Atlanta playwrights, Carlton Molette (Move the Car) and Jamil el-Shair (Dying Well), and Janice Liddell (Senior Prom), directed by the inestimable, Byron C. Saunders. Their focus on the diverse experiences of African American seniors will tickle your funnybone, elicit a tear or two and have you recalling or imagining the excitement of journeying to "senior-hood."

This don't-miss event will take place on Saturday, May 18 (matinee and evening) and Sunday, May 19 (matinee), at the ArtsXchange in a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the power of community.

The Saturday evening show also includes a special Elders Igniting reception in which attendees will have the opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with the EI cast and production team. (reception attire--Casual Chic/African Attire )

Yes, there is plenty of free parking at the rear of the ArtsXchange. Limited specifically marked handicap spaces are at the front.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the ArtsXchange Paul Robeson Theatre is wheelchair accessible.

How long is the production?

The three one-act plays performed together is about a two hour production.

Will food be available?

Normally, food is not available at performances in the Paul Robeson Theatre, but we MAY have LIGHT refreshments for sale, nothing more.

Will production merch be sold at this event?

No, there will be no merchandise for sale at this event.

Is late entry permitted?

Once performance has started, you will be directed by an usher on when, how and where to enter.
