A COMMUNITY OF ACTORS, FILMMAKERS & DIGITAL CONTENT CREATORSWe mentor and empower Florida’s visual storytellers of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds to create projects from a Florida point of view.We deliver a range of multidisciplinary programs and initiatives in film, digital media, interactive and immersive content, mixed media, virtual and augmented reality.

FilmGate Miami

Our experimental film nights are back! This film appreciation night highlights visiting and local filmmakers - from a film professor to an innovative filmmaker - discussing his/her favorite experimental films. We all love to watch and talk movies, now we can do it at the DMC on the third Thursday of every month. 
Special Guest: Amir George 
Amir George is a motion picture artist and film programmer born and bred in Chicago. Amir creates work for the cinema, installation, and live performance. His motion picture work and curated programs have been screened in festivals and galleries nationally and internationally. Amir is the founder of Cinema Culture, a grassroots film programming organization. He is currently manifesting his latest short film Decadent Asylum.
