PREREQUISITE

  • Clark College employee
  • eL101 completion

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Captioning is the process of converting the audio content of a recorded production into text and providing the text while the recording is played and/or in the form of a transcript that can be read. This workshop will show you how to use Panopto to create accurate captions and transcripts.

By the completion of this workshop, you should be able to:

• Upload video into Panopto

• Adjust settings for video such as video name, privacy settings, etc.

• Create, edit, and save accurate captions and transcript for at least one video.

• Embed or link to captioned video in Canvas.

Please bring a headset/mic to the workshop.
