E&I Touchdown

In research, we are working on open problems in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. Our research partners are international researchers from Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Bocconi University, Copenhagen Business School, EPFL Lausanne, VU Amsterdam, Penn State University, Universität St. Gallen and WHU Vallendar.In teaching, our goal is to provide our students with first-class knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation. In doing so, we are guided by the leading international universities and business schools. We teach theories, methods and scientific knowledge in our courses. However, we do not stop with the knowledge transfer, but rather shape the entrepreneurial thinking and behavior of our students in real innovation projects with multinational companies, SMEs, start-ups and research organizations.

The E&I Touchdown celebrates Entrepreneurship and Innovation in 45 seconds!
Every semester businesses have the chance to profit from our research based business consulting. E&I students work on innovative solutions for <A HREF="https://www.wu.ac.at/entrep/kooperationen/bisherige-praxisprojekte/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">companies </A>ranging from innovative start-ups to established businesses (e.g. Microsoft, KPMG) as well as international research organisations (e.g. CERN, Fraunhofer). The students are guided by the institute‘s researchers and lecturers, moreover supported by external consultants (e.g. BCG, AT Kearney, Accenture). So far, more than 700 projects have been conducted with <A HREF="https://www.wu.ac.at/entrep/kooperationen/zufriedenheit/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">over 100 satisfied business and research partners</A>.
The newest projects and their solutions are presented in 45 sec elevator pitches at the E&I Touchdown. We invite you to join this evening to see for yourself how university can elevate your business!
