They say there’s nothing like cooking on “The Ultimate Cooking Experience.”This event is for you, your family and your friends! Whether you own a Big Green Egg, or you just want to sample a wide array of recipes cooked on the EGG, this event is for you. Sample breakfast, lunch and dinner fare including desserts!Most importantly, this is a charity event that directly benefits the <a href="https://arkansasfoodbank.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arkansas Foodbank</a>. All net proceeds from the 2022 EGGfest go directly to this organization that is dedicated to providing hungry Arkansans with more healthy and nutritious food. The food is arriving hot and ready off the EGGs all day long, so plan to spend some time with us so you can taste something from all of our EGG chefs who are happy to tell you just why their dish is the best.We suggest tasters arrive between 11 am – 12 pm to experience the full Big Green EGGfest adventure. Food comes off the EGGs all day, so you’ll find food whenever you arrive!When you leave, we bet you’ll understand why the Big Green Egg is often copied but never matched in culinary excellence!<h2>Early-Bird Taster Ticket are available through October 14.</h2>With your ticket, you have access to unlimited food samples from all of our cooks who are creating special recipes on the Big Green Egg.Taster Tickets $15 the day of the event. Buy them early, and your tickets are just $12. Children 12 and under are admitted to the event for FREE!Day of the event admission is $15 per individual and is available in our store.Parking is easily accessible in our parking lot.For an EGGfest to be successful, we need EGGcellent cooks. EGGfest is the venue for EGGheads to showcase their talents on the Big Green Egg. From 11 am - 2 pm cooks showcase their skills and talents by preparing their specialty recipes all day long.It’s also an opportunity for you to sample others’ food, share recipes and “talk shop” with other Big Green Egg enthusiasts.<h2>If You'd Like to Enter a Team</h2>To register as an EGGfest Cook, call or email Townley Pool &amp; Spa. We do ask that Cooks arrive no later than 8 am to unload vehicles/trailers and set up cooking stations. We have ample volunteers available to help you unload everything you bring along.We have ample workers on-hand to help you unload everything you need. Cooking teams should consist of 1-2 Team Captains with additional helpers. Teams receive a generous SWAG bag plus gift cards to help offset expenses. We will also host a Cook Team Meet &amp; Greet at Larry’s Pizza for up to four team members (additional buffet dinners may be purchased separately). This takes place October 14, from 6-8 pm, just down the center from our location.<h2>Items Cooks Should Bring:</h2>If you are one of the first five cooks to register, we provide your canopy!<ul><li>Chairs &amp; Tables</li><li>10×10 Pop-Up Canopy (first 5 to register will have canopy provided)</li><li>Cooler for storing groceries</li><li>All ingredients needed to create you recipes</li><li>Cooking utensils &amp; cutting boards</li><li>Plate-Setters &amp; EGGcessories</li><li>2oz plastic ramekins, small paper plates</li></ul><h2>Items Townley Will Provide:</h2><ul><li>(At least) one New Large Big Green Egg</li><li>Lump Charcoal &amp; Firestarters</li><li>Sanitation Supplies</li><li>Service Gloves</li><li>Ice for your Cooler</li><li>(2) Special EGGFest Yeti Rambler per team</li></ul><h2>MEET &amp; GREET</h2>We also host a Cook Team Meet and Greet at Larry’s Pizza for up to four team members (additional buffet dinners may be purchased separately). This is October 14, from 6-8 pm just down the center from our location.This added bonus is FREE for Cooking Teams to attend and is meant to show our appreciation for all your hard work and commitment to making EGGfest such a success for our charity partner.We have plenty of food and drinks for attendees in a casual setting. When registering to cook, please let us know how many will be attending the Meet &amp; Greet.<h2>EGGcellent Chef Awards</h2>EGGfest 2022 features an “EGGcellent Chef Award” competition! As Tasters enter the event they are given one vote to cast for the cooking team they feel produced the best results on the Big Green Egg.This allows cooks to prepare a variety of recipes throughout the day and demonstrate the versatility of the Big Green Egg!
