Prairie View A&M University Cooperative Extension Program Expanded Food Nutrition Education Program hosts a four-day summer camp in Fort Bend County. The Nutrition Block Party Summer event will provide youth with daily opportunities to engage in activities related to health, wellness, nutrition, physical activity, youth development, and agriculture.
The kids can arrive as early as 8:30 am. The event will consist of nutrition classes, youth participating in supervised food demonstrations, nutritional educational games, making smoothie popsicles, and other fun activities. This event will include physical activities such as line dancing, musical chairs, relay races, and exercise. Hopefully, this will help you to decide if you would like your child or children to participate in this week of jamming to the beat of “Choosing Health Food Fun and Fitness.”
REQUIRED additional paperwork will be emailed once registration is received.
