EFMP February Workshops

We hope you can join us for our February workshops! Guest speakers from the Arc of Northern Virginia will be discussing the following:

1) SPECIAL NEEDS TRUSTS (SNT) ((February 7)) Room B3: Our guest speaker from the Arc of Northern Virginia will discuss Special Needs Trusts, safeguarding government benefits and ensuring your child’s personal needs and aspirations are met now and in the future.

2) LETTER OF INTENT for SNT Planning ((February 13)) Room B5: Letter of Intent or Letter of Instruction is a document that ensures that care providers know your child’s functional abilities, routines, interests, likes and dislikes, doctors, services, resources, and more.

3) WILLS, GUARDIANSHIP, AND LEGAL AUTHORITY ((February 22)) Room B8: What are your long-term advocacy plans for your family member with special needs? We will discuss how wills, guardianship, and other legal authority can help your family plan for the future.
