Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy model founded by Sue Johnson has grown in recent years and has a strong research base. Practice and research in emotionally focused therapy is now reaching beyond couples and expanding to show its efficacy with individuals and families as well. In this introductory workshop, we will focus on what EFT looks like with individuals. We will cover some of attachment theory that is the foundation of this model, and then move into demonstrating practical skills that you can begin utilizing with your clients once you are back in session. 3 CEU’s will be available for this event.
