Effortless Action - Walking Free

Does your back hurt? Do you have trouble focusing your attention? Have you stopped participating in activities you used to enjoy? The Feldenkrais Method is for anyone who wants to reconnect with their natural abilities to move, think and feel. Feldenkrais lessons are gentle, pain free movement explorations that increase one's overall well being and ability to move more freely and easily without pain. Using an awareness-based educational model and verbal/gentle tactile strategies to assist individuals with chronic pain, injury recovery and prevention while facilitating function and healing at a core level.

<P><BR>• Ways to identify and minimize the muscular and skeletal holding patterns that keep us from achieving our personal best.<BR>• Greater awareness of how we think, sense, feel and move.<BR>• How to move more fully, safely, easily, and allow more possibilities of motion and perception.<BR>• How to perform everyday activities of walking and athletic & artistic pursuits with greater ease and ability.</P>

<H3>Workshop Leader - Kathleen Wainwright</H3>
<P>Kathleen Wainwright has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner for 15 years, a Licensed Occupational Therapist for 30 years, and is a Somatic Experiencing practitioner (trauma/healing).  She maintains her practice at <A HREF="http://freedominmotiontherapy.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Freedom In Motion in Suttons Bay.</A></P>
