Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution

Join us for a comprehensive series focused on developing effective coaching, mentoring and professional development strategies.

Session 1: Boundaries (1-2:30 p.m.) Establish and maintain professional boundaries for ethical and effective relationships.

This training course focuses on providing participants with ways to develop effective and appropriate relationships with individuals. They are established through a set of behaviors and are given meaning through personal attitude and experience. In addition, participants will learn ways to refrain from boundary pit falls that can lead to blurred expectations and understanding of the worker/family relationship. The goal is professional and emotional safety for all parties.

Break (2:30-3 p.m.)

Session 2: The Resolution Revolution: Innovating Conflict Management (3-4:30 p.m.) Use empathy, active listening and creative problem-solving to resolve disputes.

This session delves into effective conflict resolution strategies, using relatable and memorable scenarios to illustrate key concepts. It emphasizes the importance of empathy, active listening and creative problem-solving in resolving disputes equitably.
