The Educators Exchange exposes community educators to the many career pathways into the Home Furnishings and Design Industry.
What if more young people understood the incredible range of creative, technical, and entrepreneurial careers available right here in High Point?
The Educator Exchange: Pathways into the Design & Home Furnishings Industry was created to help make those connections.
Developed by the HPxD Foundation in partnership with High Point Schools Partnership, this initiative invites high school educators and counselors to explore the people, places, and professions that power one of the High Point community's most important industry.
Join us for this opening reception at Cohab.Space, where teachers, counselors, industry professionals, and community leaders will gather for an evening of networking and discovery. While teachers will take part in a 45-minute progressive round-table program, guests will have the opportunity to grab a refreshment, tour Cohab and gain a glimpse into the creative ecosystem that continues to shape High Point's future.
This reception precedes a full day of immersion on June 16, when participating educators will visit factories, showrooms, and creative studios to see our industry at work and learn firsthand about careers in manufacturing, marketing, photography, graphic design, sales, visual merchandising, entrepreneurship, and more.
Let's show our local educators what a fantastic and close-knit industry we have!
