About this event

This class is part of our "Sarasota County Starter Kit: A Guide to Living on the Suncoast" series, which provides new residents with a range of information, from saving on utilities to dealing with wildlife, to help build happy, healthy, thriving homes and lives in this area.

Not a new resident? No problem. Each of these courses can help any of our community members, and all are welcome.

Put down that beefsteak tomato plant at the big box store! Now is NOT the time for that. Join our fast and fun webinar to explore tips, tricks, and tasks that you can do in Florida summer to boost the productivity of your edible garden. There will be something for everyone, even if you don't want to actively garden in the summer months as some of these tips will involve air conditioning, too.

To accomodate time for Q and A with your speakers—Dr. Rod Greder, Sustainable Agriculture Agent, and Mindy Hanak, Community and School Garden Coordinator —might stretch past the 30-minute mark. You are welcome to stay in the webinar for that or tap out to suit your schedule. We welcome you for the time you can share with us.

Register early through Eventbrite.com to reserve your spot and receive notice of any changes.
