Event Information
Description
Please join us for the 5th Annual edCampIndy! An edCamp is an “unconference"' free, and open to all educators who want to learn and share with other professionals. Instead of pre-set presentations, Edcamp sessions are collaboratively determined on the day of the event, and anyone who attends has the opportunity to seek what they would like to learn, to share, or to facilitate. There are no PowerPoints, no vendors and no formal presentations at an EdCamp, just organic conversations born out of the sincere desire to make teaching and learning better for our students.
Last year we had people from two states and over 30 different districts. Feel free to bring teams of teachers from your district!
EdCamps are famous for the "Law of Two Feet". If a session is not meeting your needs, you are perfectly welcome to leave; no one will be offended. You can even session-hop and attend as many as you want during a time period.
We will attempt to have notes for each session to share. If you would like to see last year's board, check out this final link.
Attendees will receive a personalized, emailed certificate for proof of attendance.
While we "build the board" during the opening session, we still welcome you to make suggestions ahead of time on our Padlet.
