The Castro Room

<ul><li>Freeform Movement – There are no verbal instructions during the dance.</li><li>Silence on the Dancefloor – While sounds and authentic vocal expression are welcome, conversations are not permitted on the dancefloor.</li><li>Respectful Space – All are welcome to dance solo or with others. Always honor personal boundaries and spatial awareness.</li><li>Substance-Free Zone – Ecstatic Dance is a drug- and alcohol-free environment. Show up as your true, unaltered self.</li><li>Tech-Free &amp; Scent-Free – Please refrain from using phones, cameras, or video. Avoid wearing perfumes or strong scents to honor the shared space.</li><li>Live DJ Journey – Our music is curated live by experienced DJs to create a seamless, intentional sonic experience—not just a playlist.</li><li>Musical Diversity – DJs are encouraged to explore all tempos, genres, intensities, and emotional landscapes throughout the journey.</li></ul>

BOOGIEMEISTER :: Producer/Musician/DJ (Berkeley, CA) Boogiemeister’s mission is to bring people together via unity on the dance floor, utilizing the healing power &amp; true magic of music &amp; dance. His DJ styles range from Global Bass, House, Future Funk, Latin, Bass, Trap, Electro-Swing, Downtempo, Dub &amp; mixes that defy rhythm &amp; gravity, tempos &amp; time. He is considered a pioneer of Global Bass music co-founding the collective Beats Without Borders, founder of Remix The Earth project that is taking him around the globe to record &amp; share elements of Afro-Latin-Brazilian-Indian-Arabic fusions of post-modern whompiness that has become one of his signature styles. He has been involved in the music and dance scene for over 18 years and has played at countless Ecstatic Dances, legendary underground gatherings, and festivals such as Symbiosis, Shambhala &amp; Burning Man &amp; internationally DJ’ing in places such as Brazil, Colombia, Europe, Mexico, Guatemala &amp; more. He has shared the stage with artists such as Nickodemus, Afrolicious, The Funk Hunters, David Starfire, Soohan, Random Rab, Jeremy Sole. He is a regular DJ at Ecstatic Dances up &amp; down the West Coast from San Diego to Seattle as well as Hawaii for regular gigs. Both a producer &amp; band member over the years (guitar/synths), music has always been a central part of his life.
