Ecstatic dance is a somatic movement practice, which means you can shake, shimmy, sit, or sway your body in any way or shape that feels releasing and healing! Dance solo or in a consent-based partnership. Keep reading for more about our safer spaces guidelines.

What are Safer Spaces Guidelines?

All Rhizome Roots events follow our studio's safer spaces guidelines. Ecstatic Dance has some additional considerations, namely that it is a substance-free and non-verbal space. At every dance we have opening circle to discuss these considerations in a group.
