NEW ARTIST ALERT: I am thrilled to announce my next collaboration with the multi talented artist DJ Josh Paul based in Charlotte NC.

Josh Paul is a passionate creator and curator of music that blends the spiritual with the sensorial. Josh’s musical journey is deeply rooted in the rhythms of Electronic Organic House and Afro House, where each beat and note is consciously chosen to enrich the soul and elevate the mind. By incorporating a diverse array of world instruments, Josh crafts a sound that transcends ordinary listening experiences, inviting listeners into realms of profound emotional and spiritual exploration.

Josh’s approach to music is a delicate balance of the “feminine” and “masculine” energies, creating a harmonious sound landscape that nurtures healing and transformation. As a Sound Alchemist, Josh is dedicated to the art of mixing electronic and organic sounds to not just entertain, but to facilitate a journey of inner discovery and communal celebration. This musical alchemy is not just about hearing, but about feeling, connecting, and healing.

Beyond just playing music, Josh strives to create spaces where individuals can come together to experience freedom and joy through movement. Josh is co-founder of ZenWithinAcademy, where he is deeply involved in the local and broader conscious movement scene. Josh’s music is a fixture at ecstatic dance events, yoga sessions, and holistic workshops, where he aims to provide soundscapes that enhance mindfulness and body awareness.

Doors open at 6:15 so we can begin preparing and adorning our bodies with glow paint to tap into our own inner luminescence. This is an opportunity for each person to add another layer of self expression to this container. We welcome the wild, the free, the unadulterated version of you. We will be providing body paint and feel free to bring anything else you'd like to use to adorn your body. We will be offering 1oz. ceremonial cacao for purchase.

Please bring an altar item for the collective intention setting. This can be a gift, a sentimental item or object that has significance for you. Each participant will take their item(s) home at the end of the night.

This is a sober event and we asked that everyone abstain from substance use prior to and during the experience.

6:45-7:10 MOVEMENT PRACTICE (Optional) for participants to drop into the body and begin connect with the space and collective group.

DOORS WILL BE CLOSING PROMPTLY AT 7:15 FOR OPENING CIRCLE & MEDITATION.

This event will be held on Saturday 6/22/24 at Aerial Charlotte from 6:15-10pm.

Aerial Charlotte is located at 801 N. Tryon St. Charlotte NC 28206

This event is sliding scale $25 -$55 and we will cap this event at 100 people.

Doors will open at 6:15 (to paint, enjoy cacao and socialize) and the doors will close promptly at 7:15 for opening circle.

Each individual is encouraged to dress to express, bring an altar item for collective intention setting, an open heart and plenty of water.

1. Be Free - dance as you like, no judgment
2. Be Present - No Phones or Cameras
3. Be Embodied- No talking or Spectating
4. Be Clear - No Intoxicants, this is a Sober Event
5. Be Consensual- Listen for Yes and respect someone's No.
6. Be Here - No Outside Shoes
7. Be On Time - Doors will be closed at opening circle
