Are you a woman in recovery from addiction? Could you use more deep rest, and relaxation in your life? Are you tired of wearing the cloak of stigma society often puts on women in recovery?
Then this is for you my sister.
As a woman in recovery, as well as a EcoNIDRA™ and Forest Therapy trained guide, I am excited to announce that starting November 5th I will be guiding monthly EcoRECOVERY gatherings for women in recovery.
To be able to offer this work to women all over our planet the gatherings will primarily be virtual, however there will be occasional in person offerings as well.
This is a sliding scale, pay what you can, scholarships for those who need them, gathering. Bottom line - no financial barrier to attending.
These guided EcoRECOVERY sessions will help you reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with other women in recovery while providing you with deep state of relaxation. Addiction hijacks pathways in our brain often causing us to live in the fight or flight mode, even in recovery. Our brains, and our bodies, need rest.
EcoRECOVERY is rooted from the mother practice of EcoNIDRA™.
Here is a wonderful explanation of this practice from the EcoNIDRA™ practice Founder Kat.
"The Art of Transformational Relaxation
Are you ready to deeply relax the entire ecosystem of your body, mind and emotions, and to plant a seed of transformation? To re-connect with yourself, with nature and with others in a profoundly deep yet accessible way?
EcoNIDRA™ is a branch of the yoga nidra tree where nidra meets nature connection. A Forest Therapy guide at heart, the founder of EcoNIDRA™ has created this blend of extremely deep relaxation, techniques deepening of our connection with nature, and seeds of transformation that we plant in the potent ground of our subconscious - in the sweet spot between wakefulness and sleep. During an EcoNIDRA™ sessions, you will partner with nature as a witness of your practice and intention."
Does this sound like a practice you need in your life? If so, I look forward to connecting with you for the practice of EcoRECOVERY.
