A Collaborative Effort | This program is produced in collaboration with:

  • Vizcaya’s Teen Environmental Council (VTEC) is a teen-led program focused on the environment, preservation and conservation. As museum ambassadors, VTEC members co-create experiences, engage with the community and promote environmental sustainability.
  • Miami Waterkeeper focuses on clean water, ecosystem protection, and sea level rise resiliency.
  • Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management
  • Coral Restoration Foundation™ works on turning the tide against the wide-spread loss of the dominant coral species on Florida's Coral Reef.
  • Dream in Green empowers individuals, especially youth, to lead in the response to climate change and other environmental challenges facing South Florida.
  • Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resources Management permits, monitors and regulates all facilities with respect to the protection of ambient air quality and water distribution and enforces other environmental regulations under the purview of Miami-Dade County.
  • The Cleo Institute is dedicated to climate education, advocacy and engagement. CLEO empowers Floridians to take climate actions by working with government, business, academic, and community leaders.
  • Buddy System has established ten Community Fridges in Miami-Dade County, changing the landscape of food injustice. These fridges, existing in food deserts, have a simple message: take what you need, leave what you can.
