Explore the transformative process of turning river trash into art at Eliza Howell Park's Eco-Art Workshop, led by Halima Cassells, the park's Eco-Artist-in-Residence. Join us for a collaborative sculpture project using materials rescued from the Rouge River, showcasing the beauty of upcycling. Engage in a hands-on art activity session to create your eco-friendly art piece to bring home. Gain insights into the impact of microplastics on our environment with a lesson from the Ecology Center. Come together for a day of creativity, community, and environmental awareness as we turn waste into wonders at Eliza Howell Park!

Workshop time slots are in two hours periods. Select a two-hour time slot from1-3pm, 3-5pm or 5-7pm in the questionaire as part of your registation.

Registration is required and space is limited.
