This half-day workshop will show you how to leverage data and services of EBRAINS in the context of cognitive and population studies. You will learn not only about cutting-edge tools for analysing neuroimaging and neurophysiological data, but also how EBRAINS can help you answer your scientific questions.Session 1 - intracranial EEGHow to combine non-parametric statistics and information-theoretical metrics for group-level analyses, even from sparse recordings like iEEG (using the Frites library). How to identify both task-related modulations of local activity and functional connectivity involved during visual search tasks.Session 2 - fMRIHow to run a general linear model to extract activation maps at the individual and at the group level (using the Nilearn library). How the resulting brain maps can be used to processelectrophysiology responses in other patients emplyoing the same experimental paradigm.This workshop is tailored for new or prospective EBRAINS users and is the first instance of many EBRAINS Academy events to come.
