Eating Mindfully

How you feel about eating is more important than what you eat.

Ahhh, FOOD! The mere mention of the word brings up many different thoughts, feelings, emotions, opinions, and much more for each and every one of us. There is not one day that goes by without having some sort of connection to food, and yes. It can be quite stressful! Especially in today’s very busy society, where distraction is part of life, food is consumed in all kinds of “healthy” ways. However the old adage of “you are what you eat” really could be re-invented as “you eat what you are”. We will discuss and experience what this actually means during our time together.

What you will learn in this workshop

In this 2-hour mindful eating workshop, we will explore the connection of how we feel and its direct impact on the food we ingest in connection to the mind, body, and spirit. We can feel good about everything we eat, using specific mindful awareness techniques with the 5 senses that will provide a refreshed perspective on our relationship with food, each and every time we come in contact with it. This is a fun, informative and experiential workshop where we will discover a new way of approaching our food before it gets any where near our mouths! Food will never be looked at the same!
