Can I share my cookies with someone else or my child?

Unfortunately, everyone in attendance needs their own ticket, no sharing of cookies is allowed. This makes sure there are enough seats and keeps it fair for everyone.

Can I purchase an additional take-home kit?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Many parents or practicing cookiers purchase additional class kits to take home and re-do the classes. You can purchase an add-on kit during check-out. Your kit will be available at the end of your class - so don't forget it!

Question 3

Do I need to know how to bake?

Accepted Answer

Nope! No baking history is required. We will have the cookies pre-made for you along with the icing already mixed and colored. Have a little decorating experience under your belt… er… apron? Come on too! I can help with questions on icing mixing and dough spread!

Question 4

What will we learn in class?

Accepted Answer

You’ll learn what goes into the art of royal icing cookies, we’ll touch on tips and tricks to make your cookies look even better than they taste! You’ll also learn different decorating techniques depending on the class theme such as marbling, outlining, flooding, and wet-on-wet.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing but a smile! Everything will be provided for you including my (rather tasty) sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.

What age is best for cookie classes?

Accepted Answer

Our classes are for 8 & up. From youngsters to grandparents - come on in and have some cookie fun with us! Our classes are great for any age; however, kiddos under 14  will need a parent to take the class as well.

Question 7

Can just my child take the class?

Accepted Answer

We ask that all parents also attend the classes with their children under 14. For children over 14, you can drop off your child to take the class and return to pick-up in 1.5 hours. Due to space restrictions, we do not have room for parents to stand by and watch their children in class.

Question 8

What will I bring home?

By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24 - 48 hours in your own box. I’ll send you an Amazon link with a list of the tools we used in class so that you can recreate these cookies at home. And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!

What will I be doing in the class?

Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some royal icing facts, decorating techniques, and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.

Question 10

I signed up for a class but can't make it?

Accepted Answer

:( We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though.  Any cancellation after the 7 days is non-refundable, but you can pick up your class kit & decorate it on your own time.

Question 11

Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?

Accepted Answer

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a total of 10-15 seats per class, so definitely sign up ASAP!
