FollowingDory Swimwear Presents:  First Annual Easter Egg Drop!

Fort Story

April 16th, 2022 1pm-5pmCape Henry Lighthouse on Fort Story!This event is only available to Hampton Roads military families. 1st, 2nd &amp; 3rd place prize! Free grub, activities, easter egg hunt &amp; goodie bags! The Egg Drop is free to for all to attend! A $10 contraption ticket is required to be entered into the drop competition! All proceeds from drop competition benefit SEALKIDS and The Navy SEAL Foundation!Egg Drop Rules: Using only household items, youth will prototype a way to protect their raw egg from breaking when dropped from the 157 foot tall lighthouse! All participants must provide their own raw egg and constructed contraption. We encourage everyone to name/label their contraptions so that our designated egg droppers, who will be safely harnessed in at the top of the lighthouse, can announce who&#x27;s contraption is dropping.The contest drop will be judged based on 3 merits:1. Creativity! 2. Damage severity of egg! 3. How close the egg lands to the marked target below!All Egg Drop participants must register their contraptions at the marked registration table no later than 2:00 pm to participate!We hope to see you at the Splat Zone! Happy Easter to all! *Please makes sure everyone in your party has appropriate closed toe shoes on as the grassy areas surrounding the lighthouse are full of thorn patches. *In the event of inclement weather, we will reschelde the drop to a later date!
