The Earthwork Music Collective returns to the Ludington Area Center for the Arts (LACA) Sunday, May 5 with an afternoon concert starting at 4 p.m. Earthwork Music is a collective steward of community, collaboration and creativity.

Tickets to the LACA performance are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ludingtonartscenter.org or in LACA’s art shop during normal business hours. In addition to sodas and snacks LACA will also have a cash bar.

The star-studded lineup will feature Elisabeth Pixley-Fink, Ben Traverse, Amber Hasan, Nicholas James Thomasma, Dede Alder, Chris Good, Sari Brown, Josh Holcomb, Samantha Cooper, Ralston Bowles, Sarah Cohen, Vince Russo, Audra Kubat, Mark Lavengood, Joe Reilly, Gregory Stovetop, The Antivillains, Mike Savina, Jordan Hamilton, Graham Parsons and Seth Bernard.

Over the course of two sets the members of the collective will weave in and out supporting and backing each other up to create a tapestry of music.

Earthwork Music has been a pillar of the Michigan music scene since it was founded back in 2001 by Seth Bernard on his family farm in Lake City, MI which is now the site of the annual Earthwork Harvest Gathering. In 2019, Earthwork Music turned inward to do a deep process of inquiry and metamorphosis. This mediated process has led to a newly revised mission, vision, values, and organizational structure.

The collective believes in the intrinsic power of music to raise both community and self-awareness. They encourage cooperation and collaboration and use music as a tool to serve, heal, inspire and empower. They believe that coming together as a community is more important now than ever.

The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is a 501c3 Not for Profit that strives to foster a community where arts and culture bring us together, feed the creative spirit, and fuel community growth. Located at 107 S. Harrison St. in downtown Ludington, Mich. LACA offers monthly exhibits, with first Friday of the month opening receptions; and a wide assortment of performances and workshops.
