Frequently asked questions

What is the EARN-FS 2024 Community Workshop Series?

The mission of the Early Responsive Nurturing Care for Food Security (EARN-FS) team is to identify pathways to increase access to existing health and nutrition services to reduce food insecurity levels. Our team is housed within the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

What do I need to bring?

There are no requirements for you to bring anything to attend. We will be providing all supplies to help you learn information at the workshop, including pens, paper, and resource sheets.

Are children allowed to attend?

YES! We encourage you to bring your children along so you don't have to find child care. We will have adults who will supervise the children in a separate section of the room, so you will always be able to see your children, but you will be able to engage with the workshops activities.

Do children need tickets?

No. Tickets are just for adults.

Will food be provided?

Yes! We will provide food for attendees and their children.
