He earned a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Prairie View A&M and a Masters in Engineering Management from Arkansas State University. He is the author of the bestselling novel The Hood Scholar and wrote the source code for Melanoid Exchange. Darsha Carter, COO/Co-Founder, Melanoid ExchangeDarsha is a serial eCommerce entrepreneur, former marketing director, and a former trauma surgical nurse. She is a proven business development manager, growing membership from 0 to 100 recurring members per month in The Black Student Association which she founded. Darsha is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing.<h3>About our Moderator:</h3>Kim Roxie, Founder &amp; CEO, LAMIK BeautyKim Roxie is the Founder &amp; CEO of LAMIK Beauty, a clean beauty brand that caters to multicultural women. After opening her own brick and mortar makeup shop at age 21, in Houston, TX on a $500 investment, Kim ran that store for 14 years and was the youngest African-American woman to have her products carried in a major department store. In 2019, Roxie pivoted her business and launched LAMIK as an e-commerce beauty company.
