This audition time is for percussion applicants who want to be considered for either Conservatory Orchestra or Young Artists Orchestra. (If you're interested in auditioning for SE or play a different instrument, please select a different date/time.)
- Conservatory Orchestra (CO): ensemble for students who want to advance their orchestral performance skills and for progression into YAO or collegiate programs. For musicians between the ages of 10 and 18.
- Young Artists Orchestra (YAO): most advanced ensemble for musicians between the ages of 12 and 23.
Your audition will have 2-3 judges in the room (usually the conductors of the orchestras). If you are auditioning for more than one orchestra, you will be expected to prepare for the higher-level orchestra's excerpts, solo, scale(s), and sight-reading.
