About this event

This training introduces participants to the Family Acceptance Project's research which highlights the correlation between caregiver behaviors towards LGBT youth and future health and safety outcomes. Additionally, participants will learn about family preservation and the Ruth Ellis Center's approach to working with families of LGBTQ+ youth.

An individual computer with camera and audio activated is required for this training. Participants will be in breakout rooms and need access to type responses. Please reach out to trainers to request accommodations.
