<H3>Parley For The Oceans Australia is cleaning up Dunk Island!</H3>
Join us for an exciting two-day excursion travelling from Cairns to Mission Beach including a camp stay on the island Saturday night. We only have 20 volunteer spaces available for this exclusive trip as we clean the island's main beach and the mangrove area around Stingaree Bay. In between and after our cleanup work there will be educational and social elements to make this trip a holistic experience teaching participants the Parley A.I.R strategy and making time to experience our beautiful suroundings.

ITINERARY 
Saturday November 3rd 0600 - Departure from Parley Base in Cairns
0800 - Arrival in Mission Beach
0830 - Parley Talk & Sign-On at C4 Environmental Centre 
0930 - Water Taxi transfer to Dunk Island
0945 - Cleanup Commences
1230 - Lunch & Parley Education  
1630 - Cleanup Concludes 
1800 - Dinner & Camping on Island
Sunday November 4th
0700 - Breakfast at Campground & Packup
0830 - Cleanup of Island & Sorting of Debris
1230 - Lunch
1330 - Swim / Hike 
1600 - Water Taxi back to Mainland
1830 - Arrive back in Cairns
WHAT TO BRING?
Please keep luggage to a minimum as we have limited space on our water taxi transfer

Sleeping Bag & Matress

You DON'T need to bring chairs or cooking / eating utensils

Small overnight bag with spare clothes & personal hygiene products (shower & toilet facilities available at the camp ground)

Stingersuit IF you want to engage in water-based activities. It will be official stinger season so having appropriate safety gear is paramount to go swimming & snorkelling
</LI>
<LI>
Packed breakfast for Saturday morning drive time. Alternatively, we will have a little rest stop before Mission Beach where you can purchase your own food. All other meals & drinks for the rest of the trip will be provided

Covered shoes, hat and a reusable drink bottle 
</LI>
</UL>
WHO IS THIS TRIP SUITED FOR?
This cleanup event is considered to be light to moderate effort yet length exposure to the sun is possible. Please inform us of any medical conditions that could impact your participation PRIOR to the trip.
 Registrations close Thursday November 1 at 5am. If you obtain a ticket but can no longer participate, please email maren@parley.tv as soon as possible so that we can allocate your ticket to someone else.
