During this one day retreat you will create your own 14” natural hide shaman style drum. Skin choice is yours based on availability at the time of order (for example Buffalo, Deer, Horse, Cow, Elk)
We will clear coat the inside of the maple rim for protection and you will have the option to write prayers, designs or inscriptions inside before lacing. You will make a drum beater as well.
We begin and close this day long retreat in a ceremonial way by smudging and offering gratitude to our Spirit Helpers and to all the sacred components that make up the drum. The energy of the day builds alongside your drum while we connect in spirit with each other’s “good medicine”.
Instructions, Sage and Tobacco are included for a Drum Awakening Ceremony as well as a handout with care info & metaphysical insight of your personal drum skin choice.
No prior Drum Making experience necessary!
** Energy Exchange $388
** Pre-registration is required and a $150 deposit is due by May 8.
Balance of $238 is due day of.
We will contact you upon receipt of your deposit regarding skin choice options.
