The Poe Center’s Drugs Uncovered: What Parents Need to Know is an interactive program that targets parents of and adults that serve upper elementary, middle school and high school students. Drugs Uncovered introduces parents to the current trends regarding alcohol, tobacco and other drugs; health risks associated with adolescent use; the North Carolina alcohol laws and parental responsibility; and techniques for open communication and dialog with adolescents..
McGee's Crossroads Middle School in conjunction with the Poe Center for Health Education will be hosting a free presentation entitled “Drugs Uncovered: What Parents and Adults Need to Know” on September 28th, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
