About this event

Introduction to DroneBlocks Coding with Tello Drones

Are you interested in learning about drones, flying drones, and coding drones for autonomous flight? If so, then this is the session for you!

Students will learn the basics of drones operation and get familiar with drones through introductory free-flight exercises. Students will then learn the fundamentals of graphical coding through DroneBlocks. Finally, students will have to utilize tools and think critically to analyze a challenging obstacle course. The mission is to program a drone with DroneBlocks for a fully autonomous flight that safely navigates the course and lands on the final landing pad.

No prior coding or drone experience required.

Instructor: Jay Jessen, Assistant Director of the Marburger STEM Center
