Driving Simulator Experience

Are you a safe driver? The Charlotte Department of Transportation invites you to experience the new driving simulator to test your traffic safety abilities. This experience aims to increase awareness and provide education during a time when traffic crashes spike over the summer months.

Join the effort to make summer 2026 the safest ever and commit to traveling safely. Take the Vision Zero pledge and join staff in the CMGC lobby to learn more. The driving simulator will be on display Aug. 3-14, but you can participate with staff guidance on the following dates:

• Friday, Aug. 7 | 8-9 a.m. (First Friday)
• Tuesday, Aug. 11 | 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Aug. 13 | 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
